Do you host our customers' websites, or do we?

You do. ChaiBuilder is always self-hosted on your own cloud infrastructure and PostgreSQL or SQLite database so that every customer site and record stays inside your security boundary. Our Build Services team helps your engineers configure and deploy it in your environment.

What do Build Services cover during rollout?

Build Services cover integrating ChaiBuilder into your application, building custom React blocks for your vertical, wiring server-side data providers to your database or API, migrating your existing customer websites over site by site, and onboarding your team. Build Services are scoped per engagement and billed hourly or at a fixed price per milestone.

How is multi-tenancy isolated across customer sites?

A single deployment and database serves all of your customers' websites and custom domains. Every page, media asset, revision, and user permission is strictly scoped to its tenant site record (appId), so a customer editing their own website can never view or modify another customer's site.

What happens if we stop renewing our Pro license in the future?

Your customer websites continue running without interruption. Your purchase grants perpetual rights to run any chaipro version released during your active license window; choosing not to renew simply stops access to newer version releases. A lapsed license never takes a live customer site down.
